So this is for my Meca-Knights thing. Only join if you are a LEADER. That means the following people

Custom_Parts
FireBlade28
General_Veers
NINJACATZ

NOBODY ELSE JOIN. If you want to join one of the Armies, click that link. Some rules.
This is for the Leaders, not anyone else
Be kind, no swearing, I mean it is a war, but we can be civilized
Try to keep it Knight related, I mean you can talk about other stuff a little but try and keep it on the Meca-Knights

FYI, You guys should probably make forums for your individual army. If people do, don’t look at them. That is THEIR team’s business not yours. I mean I guess spies are allowed but we should make some rules about things like that.

every turn you get to
1 produce
2 build
3 move
4 attack
5 plunder or resolve peace treaty

Nice ideas!
I had not thought about empty lands, but indeed it's far better if we first have to build villages.

I wrote down the rules that I had in mind when adding the various kinds of units on the legend of the map...
It's not so far from your ideas, jcfrk!
Here they are, we can make a mix of those and yours based on what you all think would be best.

Leaders can spend their money to train new armies: 3 gold pieces (GP) per infantry. The new infantry (nanofigure) is placed in any land controlled by the player, either as a new army or in addition to an army in this land (only possible if this army has less than 4 units).

Thanks to resources, leaders can train specialized units:

  • With 3 GP + 3 woods: 1 Archery unit. There can be only 1 archery unit per army. Special rule: when an army with an archer fights, the archer shots first and you can remove a nanofigure from the other army (chosen by its Leader). Archers do not count as a nanofigure during close combat. Example: you have an army of 2 infantries + 1 archer and the opponent as an army of 3 infantries. The archer will first allow you to remove one nanofigure from the enemy, and the battle will be between 2 infantries on each side, which will result in a draw: each player will remove 1 nanofigure.

  • With 3 GP + 3 woods + 1 stone: 1 Catapult. There can be only 1 catapult per army. Special rule: instead of moving the army, you can fire with the catapult. Choose an adjacent land with an enemy army on it; this army loses 1 nanofigure (chosen by its Leader). Catapults do not count as a nanofigure during close combat (so if you have an army of 2 infantries + 1 catapult, and you fight against an army of 3 infantries, you lose).

  • With 3 GP + 3 irons: 1 Heavy infantry. Special rule: in a battle where the result is a draw (and only in this situation), heavy infantry counts double. For example, if army “A” has 1 infantry and 1 heavy infantry, and fights against an army “B” with 2 infantries, then army “A” wins and army “B” is removed from the game.

  • With 3 GP + 3 cereals: 1 Cavalry. Special rule: when an army is fully composed of Cavalry, it can move by 2 lands instead of 1.

Thanks to resources, leaders can also build defenses:

  • With 3 GP + 3 woods: wood wall to fortify a village. A land on which there is a village with a wood wall is protected against archers; their special ability cannot be used.

  • With 3 GP + 5 stones: stone wall to fortify a village. A land on which there is a village with a stone wall is protected against archers; their special ability cannot be used. Also, each unit counts as double in a battle. For example, an army with 2 infantries + 1 archer would normally correspond to 2 units (the archer does not count) but this number would increase to 4.

But difficult to know if all this is really balanced before testing the rules 😄

This is gonna be sick.

nice rules! here are some other stuff
1 catapults should be able to destroy walls
2 an infantry should cost 2Gp and 1 food
3 infantry should be upgraded by 3 iron to heavy infantry
4 every figure moves 1 but with one extra food for each troop they get to move +1

But then the food gets used, right?

I thought that it would be only about battle, but now we are competing with Civilization rules 😄

should we start making the rule book now or wait till veers finishes the map

I think we can begin the rule book!
What would be the best way to share a document all together?

Google docs?

I can’t use Google Docs on this device it’s blocked. (Really dumb) and do you play Civ Veers?

@LM, oof : I

I know, it sucks. We could use Microsoft maybe?

I played Civ a few years ago!
We'll look for an alternative to Google Docs, it should exist somewhere... Or we just make a 'model' for that, and put the rules in the description? Then the comments would be for Q&A... I know that you can add pics in a comment, don't know how to do this myself, but maybe it could be a good solution to leave all this work in Mecabricks...

lets leave it on Mecabricks

veers we should do the rules on your map build

Yes right, let's do this as long as the rules are under construction, then I think that we sould do a dedicated model 😉
