(Well… I finally created a forum. There was no other place to geek out over cinema, so I thought I might make a forum for it. 😉)
One word: MOVIES.
Two more words: DISCUSS THEM.
Three more words: AND HAVE FUN.
THE RULES: (Please follow them…)
OPTIONAL: SOME DISCUSSION QUESTIONS! (With my answers given as examples!)
. What are your favorite movies? Geek out about them!
(Mine are Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Interstellar and The Matrix.)
. Are there any movies you hate? Complain about them!
(I detest The Star Wars Holiday Special, The Last Airbender and Cats.)
. Do you have a favorite actor, actress or director?
(Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Tim Burton.)
. Do you have a favorite genre of film?
(I like many, but probably Sci-Fi!)
. Is there a specific movie scene that you enjoyed/moved you?
(Bing-Bong’s death from Inside Out made me tear up.)
. (Oddly specific) Are there any films that you wish would get turned into a LEGO theme?
(DreamWorks sets would be great, especially HtTYD or Kung Fu Panda!)
. Have you seen any good movies lately? Recommend them!
(Well…Edge of Tomorrow, obviously. XD)
man, kingpin was INFURIATING
IF YOUR GOING TO MAKE HIM A VILLIAN, AT LEAST BUILD HIM UP FROM THE SECOND EPISODE
(at least next time we see him he's going to have an eyepatch, which is cool)
What If…?
Hawkeye:
Good points Wiz!
I had a shower-thought a while ago...
What if the MCU started with the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies? Introducing the other characters later on, maybe even having Tony Stark younger than Spider-Man and looking up to him (basically live-action Armored Adventures)
Man, i LOVE armored adventures
O_o
IT BEGAN WITH TONY…
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY. 😂
Huh, the 2003 Clone Wars was a lot better than I expected. Nice animation, solid storylines, (for 4-minute episodes) and General Grevious is awesome. Anakin’s kind of weird, though. He has visible armpit hair, and eats bugs... O_o
Not as good as the CGI Clone Wars, but still decent for a non-canon series.
Edit: 1700 posts!!
yeah, 2003 general grievous rocks
i didn't like the way he died in the movie
I just found out that Tinker Bell has the same voice actress as Katara.
## MiNd fLiP… O_o
next weekend I'm probably going to see Sonic 2 in theaters.
Cool! My mother and I were planning on seeing The Secrets of Dumbledore while my dad and sister go on a rock-climbing trip.
man I'm overhyped for secrets of Dumbledore
A problem i have with the wizarding world is that it progressively gets darker and broodier, i entered it ready for excitement an exited it with just that but it just didn't feel right, now the second have movies are great but they just feel more serious and not magical enough, that's why when i watched crimes of grindlewand i was severely disappointed, nice to see their going back to the more magical stuff in secrets of Dumbledore
I’m really excited to see what they do with the blood pact.
Dumbledore is gonna defeat Grindelwald in the 5th movie, so they have to destroy it somehow…
(Also, I don’t think “Aurelius” is a Dumbledore at all… It’s a big fat lie by Grindelwald.)
Yeah.
Today I went over to a friend’s house, (believe it or not, I have friends in real life, too… 😂) and we watched all 9 episodes of WandaVision in one sitting. °-° It’s been almost a year since I’ve seen it, and after all those bad MCU shows, I forgot JUST HOW AMAZING WandaVision is. I’ve mostly talked about Loki, but I really, really like WV as well. (So much emotion and creativity packed in every episode.) Except for the “Ralph B.” incident. THIS is unforgivable… 😤
yeah, really good show
(except the finale, the action on that sucked)
Anyone see The Batman, it’s actually really good, I’d say it’s better than Christofer Nolan’s Batman.
Yeah, it is
its crazy how good it is
Hey, just wondering if anybody else has noticed Marvel’s obsession with the name ‘Steve’? They seem to name EVERY character ‘Steve’.
they like minecraft i guess
Speaking of Minecraft, they're making a live-action Minecraft with Jason Mamoa O_o
