Okay, so my Dad's work announced that they won't been mandating the Fauci Ouchy, but you have to get tested every week if you don't get it/already have it. What's stupid, even if you think covid is a big deal (not trying to start a debate here), is that they aren't accepting natural antibodies. So for my Dad, who doesn't have the Vaccine, but literally just got over covid and has strong antibodies, he would still have to get tested. Utterly stupid. The vaccine is supposed to be telling your body to produce the same antibodies that would you get if you had covid, so it's not like they are two different forms of prevention. The only difference is that one is produced from actual having the virus, and the other through a shot (that still has a LOT going against it at this point in time). I'd like to see these people use their head... IF YOU'VE HAD COVID YOU KNOW YOU ARE IMMUNE!!!!! USE COMMON SENSE PEOPLE! Or maybe they are... but just being stubborn...
Hello. Can I join?
@greenie, you aren't immune to Covid if you had it before, you're just less susceptible to ███ from it.
@AT2009, You pretty much are. It's (to my understanding) kinda like chicken poxs in the effect that if you have it you can't (usually) get it again.
@Greenie, I think the main reason that they want people to get the vaccine is to reduce transmission; because, unfortunately, the more the virus spreads the more strains are created and the harder it is to fight. Those antibodies that your dad now has will be ineffective against a new strain of covid (also, you can get covid more than once) The vaccine is supposed, yes, to create antibodies so your immune system is better prepared for fighting covid, reduce the transmission & the likelihood that you'll have to be hospitalized (though, obviously in your father's case he probably wouldn't have to be hospitalized)
I had Covid before it was cool
Was it ever?
I had Covid before we knew it existed, let me put it that way.
@Hammer, thanks for explaining in detail.
I’ve wanted to learn guitar for a while! In fact, some friends gave me one of their tiny, old ones.
But it’s missing a string… Is that important? 😅
@Gman, my aunt had it before the lock down.
@Greenie, in the words of my art teacher *Covid can go jump in lake *
FB - If only it would. (Better the fishies than us…)
@Wiz: I mean, the high E is useful, but you can still learn on five, it's the same principle.
@FB: Yeah, I had it either November or December of 2019.
I had Covid in February of 2020 (I think lol)
Coincidently right after my birthday 😆
yeah, its pretty rough being sick right after or on your birthday. 😕
I had an eye infection on my 9th birthday. 😁
Wiz, "that's rough buddy" O_o
Anywho, its awesome to see a battlepack with actually guns 😆
Hammy - Was that an A:TLA reference? 😆 (Just checking…)
