Did anyone else here really love Galaxy Squad? And does anyone else think LEGO REALLY needs to bring back some king of original space theme. Lego is doing really great, but we are really lacking in IPs... it seems like we used to be shooting them out left and right, and now we aren't. I'd really like to see some, especially space themed.

Galaxy Squad was AMAZING. I wish Ninjago had been less super awesome then so I could have gotten some of those sets 😂

@Greenie, yeah Galaxy Squad was so epic I wish I had gotten more of it rather then the other sets I got, IP's wise IMO they should step up their game with the castle. Everyone loves it but they won't give it to us.

I also liked Galaxy Squad. I remember the times I was flipping through Lego magazines and looking at the sets. I had the Swarm Interceptor...and that was it.

I wouldn’t mind a reboot of the Pirates of the Caribbean theme. 😉

@Fireblade What do you mean by game? Like how the Ninjago season 13 sets were, or like a video game, or what? We haven't had it in forever... so castle is another cool IP that should totally be brought back. I had all but 1 set (the Dragon Castle thingy) last wave, which was cool. Never had that many sets from one wave before 😂

@Cake I had the Bug Obliterator, the Mini Mech pollybag, and the Crater Creature. The Bug Obliterator was AWESOME, just saying. Has so many amazing functions, and I just loved it to bits. Not sure if I ever remember having such fun play experience with a set, while also being able to admire it's beauty. It truly felt like something form Star Wars when in your hands, and I... man... that was just such a great set 😆.

Monkie Kid is pretty good, NGL, but it is most certainly a niche. Castle and Space themes are beloved by pretty much all, whereas Monkie Kid is pretty much LEGO anime. 😂 I love all the OG IPs LEGO has had over the years, but I always love their space themes. That's mainly because I love sci-fi so much, but yeah.

Yeah, I don’t get the point of Monkie Kid. (To be honest, I really only like themes based off of film series. 😁)
For example, I mostly collect Harry Potter and Marvel. It’d also be nice to have some of the cancelled Ideas sets, like James Cameron’s Avatar or Ratatouille. 😕

Yeah, its a shame they didn't accept it.

Wiz: Then you sir are missing a trick! 😂 There are tons of amazing original IP themes and licensed sets, like the modular buildings, Ninjago, even some of the technic cars. I totally understand though, I also pretty much only collect franchise sets as I can get the most out of my money (I'm mainly after minifigs and parts for custom MOCs and photography).
