@People Well... you asked about if it was fun... I'm going to give you my honest answer... sorta. I'm not joking, I actually had a pretty rough time. Let's just say the other people I was working with (sound, cameras, lighting, etc etc...), they were a lot better at what they did, and because of personality clashes and what not ended up getting kinda fed up with me. I felt fairly rejected, and alone. I am extremely thankful for a few people there. One a girl who goes to our church noticed I was eating breakfast by myself, and although I don't know her that very well, she asked if she could sit with me. I know that sounds kinda cheap, but it's amazing how much little things like that mean to you when you're alone, or, in some cases 'alone in a crowd' as my sister says. Another thing was the ALERT Cadet Challenge leadership (the boy's program I've helped with before), they were very friendly to me, and actually wanted me back with them. They wanted me to sit in with them during their leadership prayer meeting one night, which was huge. I found hanging out with those people when I could, which wasn't very often, made the week worth it. Ultimately I was there to serve, so if I had a good time or not that wasn't the point, but all the same... I think I just need to walk away thanking God for the people who did show care, than focusing on those who didn't.

Also, I don't mean to bring bad news... I wasn't really going to say that unless someone asked, and y'all did 😂... but anyways... I know some of you heard about my Grandad having Parkinson's diesis. It's been really bad for him, and he's gone through so much... anyways, we were able to get him moved into a house that houses 8 elderly people, because my Grandmother just couldn't handle it anymore. She helped him a LOT, but it finally just came down to the point where she couldn't do it, and needed help. None of us wanted him to go, but we no longer had much of a choice. Anyways, that happened this past week, and he's not thinking straight anymore. We don't know if it's his medication, or if he has something like dementia, but it's heartbreaking. He's been a pastor for years and years, and he really loves God and wants to serve... but he can't. He still is talking about how he just wants to go out and disciple young men, and he wants to start a new church... but it's all a dream. He feels confined, and he just wants to live his life freely and encourage others to live for God, but he can't. He can't move across the room without help or he might fall and hurt himself again. He's had some bad situations with falling. There are so many facets to this, and so much I could talk about... but we are all pretty down about it. I personally just wish I had had more time to talk with him, and be encouraged. I never really cared about God or my faith back when I had the opportunity to spend more time with him, before things got really bad, but now that I do care I don't think I can. 😦. Really if y'all will just pray for him that would be awesome. I feel terrible for him, for my Grandmother, mom, uncle... etc etc...

...oh boy... that's long... I should consider writing a story or something, I might enjoy that.
(The fact that I am able to still crack a joke after writing about something super depressing is a gift from God 😂)

And as to feeling left out, or alone in a crowd, I know how you feel. The youth group at my last church was like the tech crew for your thingie, so I never fit in with them, and at my new church, well, there is no youth group, sooooo, yeah.
