You all were right, I shouldn't have said what I did.
I guess I said it because I was pretty much responsible for inviting DrP here. As far as I've known him, he's never gotten into arguments like that, so I felt really bad for, in a way, starting it. So, yeah.
DrP: Sorry for saying that. I really shouldn't have, and I apologize.
He's just taking some time to let things cool down before he comes back here.
Also, Lax, you said we were making DrP look like the bad guy. Are you saying that the way you guys conducted yourselves was polite and friendly? As far as I know, sports players don't usually talk like that. So, yeah. I really think that you guys should've been more polite to each other, and Greenie. If that counts as "friendly discussion" for you guys, and you're both okay with talking like that, that's you, and I guess it's fine, but to us, it looks like you're firing some pretty serious shots. And when Greenie tried to intervene, DrP called him stupid. I really, really disliked that, as what Greenie said was perfectly valid, and I'm actually guilty of doing what he said, on multiple occasions.
We weren't trying to make DrP look like the "bad guy", and I think our . . . reaction to the "discussion" you both were having was not inappropriate.
Most of the blame should fall on me, as how I responded didn't help at all. So I apologize.
(That was a very finger-pointing message, I guess. Please do not think of it as me blaming Lax and DrP. I was trying to figure everything out for myself and explain why I did what I did.)
