@MrBrick... Well... for one self defense. If someone broke into our house, yeah it would be wise to be able to defend yourself. Two, though my Dad is the only one who can legally carry one out in public, if we ever found ourself in the midst of a shooting or something, it would be very beneficial to ourself and others if we could put that threat away as quickly as possible. Three, we live out in the country, and it is good to have guns for all sorts of reasons... like hogs for example. Over the past years the hog population has exploded! They dig up the ground and cause all sorts of problems. They have become such a problem that they are the only animal in Texas that you can legally hunt from helicopters. Four, well, its just fun to shoot at targets and see if you can hit anything 😂
