After posting a comment on how outdated a Lego realism tutorial for Blender on YouTube was, I received the following response: "...said, mecabricks doesn't have an open source or creative commons license, so you can't use their stuff in much outside of just renders, especially not for commercial use" -rioforce. Is this true?
@Scrubs IK I'm replying after so long but whats your email?
@Rubian I believe it is [email protected]. There's also the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page.
K thanks @Krisego
Yep, no problem.
Question, if i make a build, make a physical copy and sell it while saying i used your website is that allowed
@SoaringBowBuilder Depends if the model was made by someone else on here or not. If it's one you made entirely on your own, then you don't have to say that you used the website if you don't want to. It's something you made. If it is a model made by someone else however, you would need to receive permission from the original creator of that model.
Got it okay thx bc i think this creation is pretty dope
Can I Use The Mecabricks Assets in my Youtube Video ?
hello, I was curious about using the 3d files to create custom minifigure decals/accessories for me and my friends' use. I would not be selling them, and I would not share the 3d files either, just the decals and accessories made from them. I think that lines up with the agreement, but I wanted to double check and make sure it was ok
@PTcustoms no problem with that
ok, thx!
