You have 3 grid sizes for translation and rotation when you use the mouse (top toolbar on the right of undo/redo buttons)
Rotation: 0.5°, 22.5° and 45°
You can also do a rotation around the axis of your choice by typing:
R + axis {X, Y or Z} + value {e.g. 42.2} + ENTER
A yellow tooltip appears in the top middle of the screen to recap what you type.
Thanks!
How can you move the coordinate system with respect to your view? I mean, I can only zoom in at the origin for example, I cannot zoom in on any other point different from the origin. With Blender you can move your view with ctrl + scroll, is there a way to do this in Mecabricks too? The only other solution I can think of is to move your whole creation and place the region where you want to zoom in on in the origin... But hopefully there is a simpler way. Thanks in advance! 😃

Use right mouse click and drag to pan the whole scene, is that what you're asking for otherwise don't understand what you're asking for?
You can also select a brick/group and press numpad . (period), doesn't work for me though so i have to go through the camera dropdown meny and choose center, that makes the selected brick/group centered.
Wow, I am sorry, I did not know about the right mouse click 😮. But this is exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much!
Could you please add a quick safe shortcut (Ctrl + S doesn´t work in web)? 😦
Added Ctrl+S to save.
@Scrubs
Delicious! 😋 Thanks a lot!
Hi Scrubs,
I was wondering if it is possible to assign a shortcut for search. I tend to use keyboard and search mostly so it will greatly speed up the design. Not sure if its only me who think moving between keyboard an mouse is unproductive.
However both 'F' and 'S' keys are already assigned so we do have a challenge to find the suitable one.
Thanks
Istaka Citi.
@IstakaCiti
maybe not, as 'L' is available - as in 'Lookup' - or yet the combination of 'Ctrl + F' the way it is used in many applications/programs 😉
Do you mean that it would focus the search input field?
Yes Scrubs, that's exactly what I am looking for. Thanks
@mestrini, I had same thought 'L' for lookup 😃
how come it's not working? 😦
#Scrubs 😛
hey
my right hand menu disappeared how do i get it back?
Did you by accident zoom in or out the whole webpage(ctrl+mouse scroll somewhere on the page, but not in the 3D-window)? I managed to do that once and then the right menu turned black/disappeared.
How Can Put Lego Stickers to Parts?
@ComputerFan09
You can choose from the official sticker/print palette or send UV mapped textures of official stickers to Scrubs. You´re NOT able to add your own (custom) stickers to Mecabricks/on a Mecabricks part!
