Is there any way to pan using a trackpad? Traveling, didn't bring my mouse.
I have never tried it on a trackpad but as it's RMB on the mouse it might be right-click as well on the trackpad. That's usually clicking with two fingers right?
Try with 3 fingers on a multi-touch trackpad. It shall work. (2 to zoom).
3 fingers on my MBP trackpad not working, but clicking and holding down with two fingers works. Thanks!
OK. I will check that tonight on my wifes Macbook 😉
How do I publish it so other people can look at it?
@PaulH. Please use an appropriate thread or post a new one. You can find an answer to your question here http://www.mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/353
I would love for a shortcut for lock/unlock current group! Especially when using hinge plates, I find myself locking and unlocking them quite often.
Which key would you use? Just one to toggle between lock and unlock?
EDIT: actually , L is not taken so maybe this one.
That'd be awesome, thanks for the quick feedback too. Great work!
@Scrubs Is it okay if you allow just plain keyboard "." to work for the new centering feature? Currently, I have not a number pad, which makes it a wee bit difficult. 😛
I was going to ask for the same thing as ngriffin, I'm on my laptop right now and can't center.
You can still do it with the mouse in the camera menu.
I'll look at that when I'll come back from holidays.
How Do I Add Parts on this Website?
You can submit them using the Contact Us form. They will be checked by Scrubs before they get added.
Suggestion/question:
Is it possible to assaign "I" key to invert seclection?
That would make my modeling alot easier when you have a large model and want to hide most of the model by selectiong the part you wanna see with the B shortcut, invert with I and hide with H. Right now i have to select with B, click the cursor "button" move mouse to invert pic and then use H. It may sound like a small problem but i just love shortcuts... 😉
Or is there already an easier way?
@Sealund Do you mean W to display the selection options (instead of 😎?
Yes I could assign invert selection directly to I like I did with B for area selection. I'll do that tonight.
Ahh, the W shortcut forgot about that one, makes it alot easier but I for invert selection would be even better! Thanks 😃
I added the shortcut I in the workshop to invert the selection. Don't forget to clear your browser cache to make sure you have the latest version of the code.
How do I reduce the angle in which something rotates?
