Are you trying to organize your custom parts in folders in the parts bin?

yes

1. Open the Parts page (link in the top header)
2. Open the Directories tab (third button down on the left)
3. Click on New directory
4. Type in a folder name
5. If you've already created folders, you can organize the new one here in the Storage section
6. Click Create

  This link has the picture... you click on the [+] button and it should bring up the dialog to upload your image.

rn im using upper part 2x 16360

• Let's Build a Minifigure!
  Create just the torso and add your image there.
  Create an upper using the torso you just made along with arms and hands.

The upper is just an assembly of already made parts. You can change part colors, but you can't add decorations there.

Ok, I see your problem... That's something that Scrubs will have to solve. This thread is a tutorial on custom decorations... I don't think Scrubs monitors this thread for official part issues. I would post a new discussion in the Bug Reporting forum. You're more likely to get an answer from him there. Cheers!

im having this problem where im using the 2x1x1 brick but then it says this: E1005: Reference empty or already in use.

What did you put in for the reference? It has to be unique for every part.
