We need your help to bring an adventure game to life. We are looking for people that want to be involved in creating content for Planet Quest using MecaBricks.
Please take a look at the pictures at the link below to have an understanding of the look and feel of the game, plus a small gimps of the story.

We are looking for mad max thunderdome style town with isolated outposts and locations to fill the world, It's a rough junk almost steampunk planet with space traders, pirates, hidden danger and exciting characters.
Locations are small dwellings/huts, workshops, ship repair/refuel, markets etc. Lots of makeshift not perfect places that look like they have been made from scrap or ship parts, nothing big and complex at this stage. Also any land planet vehicles or smashed destroyed ones.
This is a ultra creative project that is not in line with normal brick builds, but I'm keen to see who wants to be involved, if we get enough support we can release a free playable version for the MecaBricks community.
Thank you
Adrian
@ArmoredBricks Wow! It's finally working! Nice booth, too. 😉
Just wanted to say, progress is going well on the pirate's bar/refuge/cove/interplanetarystop/saloon thing. Speaking of which, what should I title the model when I release it? The building is almost as big as a modular but open, and only one story. Hope to finish it this week, if I can.
@Adrian I had a cool Idea, in the game, do you think you could have any of our sigfigs as characters you meet? Like, you can go up to "Samino" or "ArmoredBricks" and they give you advice, or whatever? I saw in the pictures their are other people in the game, just thought that would be kind of cool. No obligation, of course. 😃
@ArmoredBricks Nice! Maybe you call it "Pirate Rendezvous"? Good luck!
That certainly is a neat idea @ArmoredBricks!
@AdrianRayner Is there a release date set for the game yet? Also, what inspired you to make Space Quest? Is this a game that will be on the market? As you can see, I have a bunch of questions about the game. 😉
Oooh... @Samino I may go with that name, thanks!
Hey people, Some great questions and I will attempt to answer them all. First there is about 8 characters for the game that are built so far around a story, I am very happy to name some after you guys, however if you want to create a character that fits the wasteland world I would be happy to take a look. Also I am not using any branded stiff like star wars characters or lego signs etc. I want this to be a generic brick game. I'll get a picture of all the characters so far in a line on the web site so you can see the style. Hey a few more is not going to hurt, the main driver of the story is dialogue and not flashing icons telling you where to go.
About the release of the game, I am only getting to work in the game part time and do not have any funding, but I am very good at making games and If I can get enough interest and traction then I could move things faster. At this stage I'm just powering to a minimal viable product. But you guys will all get a copy as soon as I can get the basics finished. Once stage one if finish which is the world you see on the site we can look into how much support we can get to drive the game further.
Regards
Adrian
Finished it... It's even got a ceiling fan! 😮
I'll release it tomorrow if I can.
@ArmoredBricks You're welcome!
@AdrianRayner Okay. I can adapt my character to the environment by giving him a helmet and space suit or something. Thank you for answering my questions to. Good luck!
Here it is! @Samino I went with just Pirate Tavern, sorry 😛 You'll need to open this in the workshop to see all the details, including the other side of the counter.

If you'd like me to add something, such as tables, please tell me! Also tell me if you'd like the stools shorter, I wasn't sure what height to go with.
@ArmoredBricks You might want to shorten the heighth of the stools. They seem a bit tall. No worries! 😉
Nice job, though!
My sigfig is ready to be added!

@Adrian I noticed the "Steampunk Scoutship" (page 1) wasn't on the website. Were you planning on adding it? 😃
@Samino I made the stools one plate shorter. Is that better?
@All what should I build next?
@ArmoredBricks Much better! Maybe a tower or another spaceship?
@AdrianRayner What did you think of the model I submitted for the game?
@ Samino I am adding your great models today. I'll post some pictures. Some models take longer to convert and place as I need to plan around the story. I am trying to fit all models in the game somewhere. But it will take time.
@ArmourdBrick the tavern is great. I.ll add it soon and see if any adjustments are needed for the gameplay but is is very cool.
Can we all look at producing some destroyed ships like they are broken and crashed. Maybe one with a hole to look into the side. Or a broken vechicle. Etc
Great job with all builds
Adrian
@AdrianRayner Thank you! I'm excited to see how you used it. When it comes to creating MOC builds, I lack a bit of creativity, so I thought, why not just do a trashy build? Get it? It's a shack! 😛
EDIT: @AdrianRayner Also, will you be adding our sigfigs if we change/adapt them to fit the environment?
@ArmourdBrick I am planning on adding the steampunk scoutship just not got it yet.
The sigfig looks great I'll add it to the list to place in game.
Great stuff
Adrian
@AdrianRayner So if I edit my minifigure, it can become one of the characters in the game?
All good to know! I'll try and keep building next week.
@ Samino yes your minifigure can be a character.
@AdrianRayner Thanks. I'll post the "space" version of my minifigure when I've made it.
Here is my design of a Robot Model the Junkers use, hope you like it. [mecabricks]Z79a8EEr28w[/mecabricks]
@Xsizter Welcome to the group, I'm sure I will find a place for this. Thank you.
