I have a problem and it bothers me a lot and that when my construction is not saved I don't know where it says configuration it is saved but could you tell me how it is saved that is my problem thanks
Hello,
I just had problems with installing the lite-addon. But then had success after set blender to factory settings (file-default-load factory settings). Perhaps that will also help other guys.
Unfortunately I can't import DAE-Files to Blender:
I exported a DAE at mecabricks but when I Import to blender the following message appears. (Import-Export: Mecabricks Lite 3.1.3 / Blender 2.83.0)
Hope someone can help. Thanks!
The Blender add-on doesn’t use the COLLADA format but ZMBX.
Thank you very much! Now it worked perfectly!
Just checking, the Mecabricks lite, will work on blender 2.83? Thanks.
Good morning, I'm only going to say one thing and that is that there are no things about the minifigures on the upper part until the feet.
I mean that when I enter upper part, collectable minifigures, series 3, no upper part appeared in that file, series 3; there is nothing, please create the upper part of series 3 the collectable minififures. eg upper part of hula dancer, etc.
@giselaescorcia please use the proper thread. Your request is completely off topic.
I'm using the normal 3D rendering in Mecabricks and sometimes it'll say that my rendering is offline and I can't make any renderings. Also, sometimes when I finished the rendering is finished, I don't get to download the image as it says Await-post-processing, I had to wait till the next day for it to function properly again.
Can you tell me what's going on with my account? Do I have to pay?
@SongCS this is the wrong topic. You are discussing the online render mode.
sorry
Hey! I installed the Blender Lite add-on today! I only got one problem: all shaders are named 'mb_basr_...', but there is no indication to know which shader to use for which part. For example: what is the difference between 'mb_base_solid.001' and 'mb_base_solid_paint'? Could someone make me a list of uses for each different shader?
You shouldn't need to edit the shaders in order to render. Are you trying to add the materials yoursel?
Yes because I am using a model that I imported before installing the Blender Life addon... so now I need to fix the materiels. Can you help me?
@KL3Wlego there is no way to do that manually. Each material is built by the add-on based on information available in the zmbx file. Just reimport the model.
I imported the nodes from the add-on into my Blender file (using 'Append'), so I can see all the names of the different materials ('mb_base_solid.001', 'mb_base_solid', etc.). But my Blender file is already animated so I would like to import the shaders and not to change my blender file...
@KL3Wlego These are not the full shaders, just a little piece of the puzzle. Like I said before the shaders are built by the add-on using python scripts. If you only need a few shaders, you can import your model in another file and then append the materials. It will be really tedious... There isn't really any solution to your problem.
@Scrubs Thanks for the advice. For this time I will append the materiels. Thanks for the help
