Thank you so much I’m a newbie who started last week
can you "relocate" the shortcut keys?
like "B" for area select------> "A" for area select?
How do you change the color of a brick?
Select the parts you want to recolour and use the material panel on the bottom right corner.
I can't find the material panel on the bottom right corner. It did not show it when i created the Lego model.
Make sure that the zoom of your browser is set to exactly 100%
Thanks. I had to change it to 90% because I am using my chromebook.
My computer restarted and I can't get my build back. What do I do?
Sorry, this is probably the wrong place to ask this but, Is there a shortcut to get a list of parts used in your moc. I would like to build mine in real life and I will need to bricklink the parts. Thank you.
@SamWillie
For public models:
Model page → Inventory (below 3D player)
That's the inventory of your model. If you want to export it to Bricklink, head over to → Bricklink XML
You will get 2 files. One can be updated directly on Bricklink. The other one is the list of part that Mecabricks doesn't know how to convert (e.g. bricklink information has not been filled in yet in the database).
For your own private models, use the url:
http://www.mecabricks.com/inventory/bricklink/{MODEL_ID}.zip
where MODEL_ID is the 11 chars alphacode of your model.
Thanks but I am unsure of where model page is.
@SamWillie
For public models:
Go to your library (click on your username in the upper right corner, next to "log out"), double click the model you want to see the inventory of, click on "links" (next to "properties"), then click on the eye icon next to the URL displayed under "Public library". This will take you to the public model page. From there, see the instructions for public models in my previous comment.
For private models:
Open up your model in the workshop, then have a look at the URL: copy the 11 characters after https://mecabricks.com/{language}/workshop/
and use the URL I posted in my last comment with these 11 characters.
Hi there!
I have an issue building my projects in mecabricks webform. I dont know how to remove unnecessary edges in the project. when I am trying to change the Threshold value the element is totally disappearing as same as many of them (PIC 3 https://imgur.com/NBGv64Q
Please see the pics:
with extra edges PIC 1 https://imgur.com/wnC9DsK
with no edges as required PIC 2 https://imgur.com/hOpqJC2
So all my projects are required to be as shown perfectly on PIC 2.
Thank You!
That is not possible. Mecabricks doesn't display outer edges so you will always have issues with round elements.
Can you guide me please what software I have to use to make it possible? I really need it. Does it work in any PRO software like AutoCad or smth like that?
The workshop is not letting me change the colors of items,how do I do that.
how do i move many things as one piece
i need to know how to save a project and go back to it to continue editing. it would be so usefull
@SCARYDOGSE, under the file menu you'll find save, save as, open...
thanks really will help!
