How Can I Download movies on my iPhone?
adrew54 a commencé cette discussion dans General Discussion

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a MacBook, and I know I can download movies from Netflix to watch offline, but the problem is I can’t always carry my MacBook around. Plus, I’ve realized I can’t transfer the movies I downloaded on my MacBook to my iPhone. Now, I’m trying to figure out how to download movies directly to my iPhone so I can watch them offline whenever and wherever. Any suggestions or tips on how to do this would be much appreciated!

This is a great question! It's annoying that Netflix locks down downloads like that. StreamFox sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out. For more general info on the game, the rogueblox wiki is a great place to start for beginners, it has all the basics covered.

Totally get where you're coming from – I ran into the same issue with Netflix downloads being device-specific. For quick breaks while traveling, I sometimes skip the movies and just unwind with Wigglypaint – it’s a fun little wobbly drawing game that works right in Safari on iPhone. No downloads needed!

Yeah, Netflix downloads don’t sync between Mac and iPhone due to DRM. Best bet is to use the Netflix app directly on your iPhone to download. Also, if you're prepping a video explanation for someone (like a tutorial), TimeMyWords can help estimate your speech duration – I use it a lot for mini guides.

You’ll need to download movies through the Netflix app on iPhone itself – downloads don’t carry over from Mac, sadly. Off-topic, but after a long movie binge I mess around with Emojitty – you can turn your selfies into fun little emojis. Could make a “Movie Night” emoji version of yourself 🎬📱😄
