Render's being too slow

I had tried a simple render with no faults visible and had waited more than 20 minutes.
The only adjustment to the camera view I made was boosting the emissions of a transparent object to 1.000

Is there a reason for this or is this a problem with my computer

Rendering takes a lot of time and power. Depending on your comptuter and the settings, it can take from a few minutes to a few hours for a single frame.
