I like to make my textures based off similar ones from official parts, helps me get that lego 'feel' easier. Problem is some of the ones I want haven't yet been updated, i.e. they are missing the little '2' in the corner.

Specifically, right now, I'm looking at 3626d203, a minifigure head. Is there a way to still download the decal from the old one?

If not, is there another way I might be able to get this decal? I have the LDraw .dat file, but not sure how to get the texture off of that.

Open it in the workshop and then export it. If you do Collada or Wavefront, you will get a zip file. If you dig through the Textures folder, you'll find the image you need.
