Can I create a model using custom pieces from two models that different people made into one model?

Basically, is there any way to save a custom printing that someone else made to my own library?

Yes. Above the viewer window, you can click EDITOR. This will open the model in the Workshop. Now you can save the model and then import it into another model of yours. If you need to mix and match, save the first and then do it again for the second one.

Be aware that if the designer of the element deletes his custom decorations it will disappear as well from your models.
