First of all, I love Mecabricks. It's easy to use and fun for those like me who are just starting 3D rendering. Below I have listed some suggestions that I would like to see:
More pieces from old LEGO: I was going to do a little render of Spider-Man vs Green Goblin from the 2002 Spider-Man movie, but the Green Goblin helmet wasn't on Mecabricks so I couldn't make my render. It was a bit of a shame, and I think that adding more parts from old LEGO themes (both pieces and prints from old LEGO themes) would make Mecabricks even better.
Background: In 3D rendering, I think it would be nice to have some backgrounds available to really complete a render.
Hi adriver-
I wanted to let you know that on your last point, it is possible to upload your own background image to use in the online renderer. In the 3D Rendering workspace, open the Background tab on the right sidebar about half-way down. Check the box to enable the background and then change from Colour to Image. Now you can upload an image which will fill the background of the camera shot. This background will always face the camera and fill the frame. So even if you have multiple cameras, the background will always look the same in the frame. Additionally, you can render your image without a background. You can download your image as a PNG file, which will have a transparent background. Then you can add one in later in an image editor. I hope this helps.
Cheers!
