Tube curving?

So originally I thought I could shape the tubs to my liking, like think making a circle with a single tube. I tried this, and it didn't work. is it possible and if so, how do do this?

Select the part and press F to enter flex mode. The flexible parts section of this topic has more information about the different actions available and this video demonstrates how it works.
