i got ninjago set 71700 (legacy jungle raider) yesterday

New edit : 2 days later i got journey to the skull dungeons and burst kai and cole

...And now, we have all the Legacy 1 minifigs

@Prelawpikachu Is that a good set? I have some gift card money... and have been thinking about snatching that set 😂... I'm just not decided tho 😉. I've also considered Wu's dragon... well... it's not really his dragon... or grabbing the other three VS sets... I feel like the Journey to the Skull Dungeons is really good though.

Greenie: Journey to the Skull Dungeons is definitely best in terms of what you get. But Wu's Battle Dragon (Chompy, if you prefer) is an awesome build.

Wow I always wanted set 71700. It is one of my favourite sets if I don't include sets 71736, 71735 and 71751.

I have the OG Jungle Raider... and... well it's the only Legacy set where the original is better, imo.

Also, I suddenly realized that, there could have been a major plot hint in that. When asked if she had any siblings, she said she had Kai as a brother... but then I realized... she could have more but doesn't even know it! They didn't say she doesn't have any more, and there could a reason their parents never said anything about it. Maybe they think the child died, and didn't want to say anything about it...

Just a thought...

Greenie: Yes, that could make sense. A sibling, jealous that they didn't inherit any powers.

It would be cool if, somehow, that sibling might have gotten lost in time, and appears older than both Nya and Kai... though he's or she is actually younger.

@Pyro, I (so far as I know) don't own any legacy 1 figures, aside from some Zane minifigure that I got in a magazine, which had some SoG uniform and a legacy hood, I only really wanted it for the Aeroblade piece that I never got to get my hands on 😦 . The more I think about it guys, the more I realize Ninjago needs a remake... and I know the creators have sorta been doing that... but I don't think the creators are the ones who need to be remaking it, I think it needs to be the set designers.
Honestly, I want to see a jungle mountain season, yet with wrapped in technology. I want to see some walkers instead of mechs, I want to see a bad ship for the villeins instead of another bounty for the ninja, I want to see some helicopters and drones... I want to see some cool jungle terrain, with some rocky cliffs to scale. I want to see some more believable high tech enemies... and some cooler hovercraft instead of gliders and jets. Give the ninja a new style of weapon, not permanently, but something unique for a short spell. Also, do the ninja have to look the same... sorta... like, can't we get a season where some are half masked and some aren't. Give their outfits a bit more personality.
I'm just kinda ranting 😂. Don't change the characters, change the sets.

Greenie: Yeah, Ninjago sets are kind of cut-and-dry, they haven't changed much. Unique gi would be a huge bonus. They did that in Hunted, which was one of my favorite things about that season. Hunted had some of the best villain concepts of all time. They should do more stuff like that, not just, snakes, fire snakes, sea snakes, etc.

I agree it would be good to mix up the sets a bit. imo season 13 was pretty good sets and theme wise...

FB: Yeah, season 13 was a great all-round season. Not the most imaginative villains (in terms of the REAL villains, not the Geckles and Munce), but still really cool. It was a nice change of pace to be underground.
