Let's go! 😎
Presenting, the PTF.
@Op, what’re you building? And nope...
MB: A hovercar. More of a futuristic one, not just a car from an era that hovers. 😆
Oh, okay. I'm streaming myself building it there, that's why I mentioned it.
@Op, Cool!
MB: Thank you!
Hey @MrBrick! 😎
I feel like we should all be patrons. 😆
Snap: Yeah, we should. Unfortunately, most of us aren't even old enough to have a credit card. 😆
And if I even had a credit card... I wouldn't 😂... I'm about to be a college student... I can't afford to give money to a LEGO website O_o...
Greenie: Good point. 😆
Good morning, Pyro!
Guys, I'd really like to do a render with a minifigure holding a lantern. Any ideas? I really want the light to pop, and I think I want the figure to be nervous.
I have a few ideas:
A minifigure holding the lantern, walking away from a campfire at night, during the fall, looking kind of nervous. It would be in a bit of a forest, and there might be a bit of moonlight. Definitely Depth of Field, and maybe a little fog.
A snowy winter evening (or early morning, I just don't want there to be a lot of light, so that the lantern really pops) with a bundled-up figure holding it, with a cabin with lit windows in the background. Definitely a snow-overlay in post-prod., so I'll probably have some volumetrics in there, and 100% depth of field, to make the lights in the cabin a little more blurred and seem warmer. I want you to be able to see the moon in the background, and there to be a little bit of a mountain backdrop. IDK.
Argus Filch prowling the corridors of Hogwarts at night. A little bit of moonlight shining through arch-shaped windows, which are out of view. I want an eerie feel, Filch having his classic grimace. I might have Mrs. Norris in there as well.
Which one should I do? And, do you all have any other ideas?
I'd say the first one.
Lighting can be tricky.
6-Hun-Doe!
Snap: Okay, cool. Nice! Happy 600!
WoOoW . . . you have like, two times that! 😆
