How do I export a mecabricks piece to get the right dimensions an then go onto exporting a print onto that piece, ie. a 2x2 dark stone grey tile

To download the UV-map to use as reference to fit your decoration correct do this:

1: Click PARTS
2: Click on the brick in the left side menu
3: Search for your part number, in this example 3068.
4: Click on the "original" part that is grey and have the small icons in the corners.

5: Select "Decorated"
6: Download the UV-map by clicking on the round icon. Some parts have more than one UV-map like this part.

This video by Scrubs shows how to add your own decoration to parts:

in step 6, you say to "click on the round icon" to download the UV map, which round icon are you referring to?

The one I tried to make a red circle around, on the right side in the second image....

thanks, i see it now 😃

I will post my final design to you once it is finished 😃

how do i get the preview tab

The decorated button is not appearing.

@trainking, maybe you're entering a part number that has not yet been converted to the new system which is needed to be able to make custom decorations for it? The part will have the number 2 in the corner(see first picture in my first post in this thread) if it has been converted.

@sealund, the part does have the number 2 in the corners but the button would still not show.

Which part number is it?

@sealund,3817

It works form me? Do you enter 3817 in the configuration field and click the magnifying glas? I guess I missed that step... 😉

@sealund,My problem seems to be that the menus are not

Also how do you add an image to the forums?

To add images you have to first upload your image to a image hosting site like imgur or flickr. I use imgur and after uploading the image i just click on it to get the links and I just copy the bbcode (or linked bbcode if you want it to be a link to the hosting site) and then you just paste it here in your post as it is.

@sealund,thanks

so anyway my problem is that the menus are not enabling me to click on them

My bad again, since I have permission to add official decorations, I missed switching to custom. I don't see your left panel but i guess that might be the reason if you have followed my instructions in the image at the top, where I'm in official?

The image was not to show how to add custom decorations, but to download the uv maps. If you look at the youtube video by Scrubs that I linked to, you will see a better workflow on how to add custom decorations.

So i just need to know how to make an image to print onto a piece. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
