A few different suggestions.

Hello, I have thought of some cool ideas that may be worth improving the system. I hope you like them.

-An online team builder:
This would allow collaboration builds, so two or more people can work on a model at the same time (maybe like google drive) so people can create contest entries together for lego ideas, or to build a scene for a large diorama.

-Group chats:
A different version of PM's, where multiple people can talk about stuff as a group, but others cannot see it who are not in the group, people can then be invited into the group by the leader/creator of the group chat.

-A follow button:
A button on your profile that means you can follow them and get notifications when they upload a model. Also can we have a button that takes us to our own profile, rather than having to go to notifications, finding a model we have published and clicking the link there to get to our profile?

-Some updated tutorials:
Some tutorials on exporting over to blender 2.8, making custom minifigures, rendering, beginners guide to Mecabricks, ext...

-A different build version:
I struggle to use Mecabricks because of the build system. Could we have a mode that you can build either how Mecabricks works currently, or have a function like lego digital designer or stud.io, to make it easier to use?

Thank you for your time, and I hope these ideas have inspired you to help improve Mecabricks.

Maybe also a report button.

@TheGecko7

  1. I think the online team builder is a good idea.
  2. Personally I don't see the point of a group chat feature. That would almost turn Mecabricks into a social media platform not a design platform for LEGO related stuff. I think that most people just use discord for that sort of thing.
  3. I like the follow button idea. And yes I don't care for the fact that I can't go directly to my own profile, but it's not a big deal for me.
  4. I have created an "updated tutorial" about exporting to blender and put it on my YouTube channel. There are lots of other users that have created tutorials covering the other features you mentioned.
here's the video that shows how to export to blender 2.8+. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkDG-EeUK6k
  5. Personally I like the current build version, and I don't know why it should be changed.

Thank you for your feedback.

You're welcome

Could you please add big figures. Hulk, Moui, Thanos, ect

Use the dedicated place on the forum for parts requests.

Also, Adding reference images whilst building a model, like the "add images as planes" add-on for Blender would be great! Thanks.
