Control points in flexible parts

Hi,

I'm trying to use flexible parts (cables). However, when I add a cable, it has only two control points that I can use to bend it. I watched the "Mecabricks Flexible Tool" video on youtube, and the example part shown there has lots of control points. Is there a way to add control points to a flexible part?

Alternatively, any tips on how to nicely bend a cable into a circle?

To add more control points, select the 2 end points of the segment to divide and click the divide button on the left panel.
