I know there is a simple solution to this, I just can't seem to find the answer?
Sometimes, I think accidentally when duplicating a brick, the brink becomes different. It has more solid edges and appears 'locked'. I cannot then remove the brick. I cannot figure out what I need to do to turn the brick back to a normal brick. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
I don’t really understand precisely what the issue is. Could you post a screenshot here to make it clearer?

It's happened to me again. Here is a screenshot.
The 1x1 brick above the highlighted brick, the one my cursor is pointing at, is somehow "locked". I don't know how I have done it or what has happened. You will see the edges of the brick have a darker black edge line than all the other bricks. In addition, it cannot be deleted simple by clicking on it and pressing delete. Please help?
Because you piled up lots of the exact same part. You can use the double option of the select tool for that.
