Can anyone cast light on why I am unable to import my latest Mecabricks creation into Blender?
I am using the 1.1.1 Mecabricks Advanced plug in. I can import all my other models.
I am trying to import my USS Enterprise model posted here - https://www.mecabricks.com/en/models/LyjWwXBOjJr
It imports a few of the pieces then comes with a failure and the last two lines say
.......line 468 in make material color = MB colors[data['color']]
Key Error '353'
Is there a color that cannot be imported perhaps?
Any help appreciated.
You will need to upgrade to 2.0.0 because color 353 Vibrant Coral has been added recently to the color table.
And make sure that you download the most recent version of Blender 2.80
You can also add a line in the 1.1.1 python file for this material.
Thanks for the replies Sim & Scrubs.
2 of my PC's will not run 2.8 as it does not meet the requirements. How do I modify 1.1.1 python file to allow 2.79 to work? Is there a post on how to do it somewhere?
OK. I have just discovered that there is an additional selection when exporting that gives the .zmbx files if using the new V2.0.0 Mecabricks plug in. Had me going there for a while when I could not work out what I was doing wrong.
In init.py of advanced add-on 1.1.1, insert the following at line 153:
'353': {'type': 'solid', 'hex': 'F06D78', 'sRGB': [0.871, 0.153, 0.188]},
It's working now! Thank you. 😃
You are welcome.
Genius, Thank you Scrubs, that did it.
