Positioning of 1x anything bricks is off grid - even in the
tvguru a commencé cette discussion dans General Discussion

Hi,

When I add a 1x2 or 1x4 or 1x anything brick it is always positioned off grid. For example if i start with say a 2x6 brick and then add a 1x6 brick then the 1x6 is always in an impossible position in the middle if the brick. Even in the initial video the 1x8 brick is in an impossible place in the grid. How do I move 1x? piece so that they line up with the grid?

Select the brick you want to move and use the numpad 8, 4, 6 and 2 to move on X and Z axis or pageUp and PageDown to move on Y-axis. Or you can move a part by click and hold with the mouse on any of the three coloured arrows(gizmo) and the just drag with the mouse. Or you can switch to the transform tab in the right menu and add a value under location x, y and/or z and click apply.

Similar if you want to rotate a brick you can do this by using the arrow keys on your keyborad or press M key to switch to rotate gizmo and click-drag on the three coloured circles, or enter a rotation value in the transform tab.

I have the same problem and am new to MecaBricks and it won't line up no matter what I do I got the first one to line up properly after a few tries but the rest other two have the same problem as the above. The pieces that are having this problem for me are the 1x2 flats

I have the same problem. The brick is always positioned off grid.
