Render stops - red dot

Ok - I'm trying to render a large model. Paid for credits but about 1 min into the process it just stops and a red dot appears next to the model title. What am I doing wrong?

If anybody comes across this post it was a GPU memory issue. Really hope that Blender will allow soon GPU to access the RAM. I have also a few tricks up my sleeve to try reduce the memory required to render.
