It would be nice to be able to resize Library bar. since i would like to see more bricks in it. or something like this http://i.imgur.com/vL8SMrT.png.
Could we have this?
It's been suggested before, so it may be possible in the future. 😉
oh. the thing that only bothers me a bit about mecabricks is just how small the library bar is with how many bricks there are. i think this would make building a bit quickier
If you want to see more parts in the workshop library there is an "ugly trick"(translated from our swedish expression) you can do by zooming out your browser(Ctrl+mouse scroll in most browsers). It will give you some more parts on the single row. But I have noticed that in Google Chrome, the right panel with groups, properties and materials, will disappear in some zoomlevels. Make sure you don´t have your mouse cursor in the workspace area cause then you'll only zoom out your model. Keep it up on the menu or on the library row.
As @Sim said I believe it's on Scrubs long todo-list. 😃
I would as you also prefer two or three rows, they could perhaps be pop-up when moving the mouse over the first row?
ah i never though of that before 😮
Another trick is to change you screen resolution to a higher one if you can.
On my Lenovo P50 laptop i can choose up to 4K(3840x2160) but then everything gets so small on the 15,6" screen and the 3D movement of the model gets very choppy.
Ok, I think it will be done very soon. I just need to find a nice solution for the UI to add/remove rows.
oh nice! thanks for answer Scrubs! 😃
Done.
I noticed the little handle above the bricks, but couldn't get it to work. How does it work?
Clear your cache to make sure you have the latest version of all the files. You just drag it up and down.
o/ hourra ! well done Scrubs !
Very nice solution Scrubs 😃
Still, as I mentioned before, for those with low resolution screens it would be nice to collapse/hide some bars. Can you add collapse the library bar on double-click, please? tx
Not now. This is too much work for not much benefit as of today. It is not just a one line of code to change. Just to give you an idea, it took me almost 8 hours of code tonight to make this change to the part library.
Of course I can't and don't want to force you. I know you're overwhelmed with requests and that this project has a lot of different aspects to handle. I just assumed that, since the code manages to resize the bar element, it could 'go one step farther' and resize to 0.
tx anyway
Thank you so much Scrubs! I've been wanting this ever since I started on here! 😛
Excellent work scrubs!
