I also listen to music when I'm drawing decorations. I tend to listen to a lot of Film scores (Hans Zimmer, John Williams, etc.) but I'll also throw in some electronic music and the occasional rock song when I need a change.

Music is very essential part of my any creative activity, my all time favorite is 80's & 90's classic/soft rock and old Hindi music (again songs made between 40 - 70's).

@Stas: I'm a Heavy Metal listener also, specially Power and Thrash but on occasion listen to 'softer' as Hard Rock or Classic Rock. Once in a while I do a 'detox' with some good old Pink Floyd 😃

But the true point is that I MUST have music to get my brain in 'the zone'. I work in an office with people that speak really loud with each other and on the phone and my concentration simply crumbles. That's why I work with headphones on constantly 😉

I don't always have music on while I'm working, but I usually have the radio on while I'm working on sorting, building my LEGO and reconstructing sets. The music I like is 80's Rock (Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams) and Pop (Corey Hart, A-ha). I also really like the soundtracks from the movies Speed and Pacific Rim. There are a select few songs from this era that I like, today's music (at least most of the stuff I hear) I really don't like. 😛
