Get the following error when running the Blender template python script

TypeError: bpy_struct: item.attr = val: Object.parent ID type does not support assignment to its self

Template is now a bit different from the video tutorial. It is simpler. After importing the collada file, directly click the Run script button. Do not manually parent the parts to the model object or anything else.
Secondly do not rescale the model.
It shall work 😉
