Python.Scrpit.Fail With Anything Newer Than Template 1.8.7

Title says it all, I've cleared my browser cache and redownloaded the files, and I'm doing everything just like in the video tutorial, but I have yet to get the script to run in either Lite 1.8.8 or 1.8.9. I'm using Blender 2.78c on Manjaro Linux, but I have access to a version on Windows too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, 'cause I'm at a loss 😛

From version 1.8.8, you don't need to parent the parts to the "Model" empty object.

  1. Delete the "Bricks" object
  2. Import the collada file
  3. Click "Run Script" - Make sure that all the part that you imported are selected
