I often find that I have parts accidentally duplicated (for instance when duplicating and lining up things on existing snap points). It would be really nice if there could be a quick method to select (and delete) all duplicate parts. This wouldn't require any collision detection (which I know is a PITA to implement reliably), but merely a quick scan of all parts, selecting those that have the same ID and position/coordinates.
It is already existing.
Click the Selection Tool in the tool bar (or press W) and click on Doubles.
All the parts that are duplicated will be selected. Just delete them.
Oh bloody hell. So stupid of me. Thanks!
No worries 😉
i am just wondering if there is like a tool to detect parts that are in other parts or how should i say this, like parts that are colliding into other parts. if there is, can someone please tell me how??? if not, can we please add that tool?
No there are no collision detections.
oh well thanks anyways
