Hello,
Every now and then I buy sets to model new parts. I generally keep them afterwards, however the place starts to be a bit cluttered... With my latest acquisition, I thought that instead of selling it on a second hand website, I could try something with Mecabricks to reward the community. So here we are!
What I am organising here is a contest to win set 75901 - Mystery Plane Adventures. The box has been carefully opened in order to take photos/3D scan/model some of the parts. The rest has been left untouched and therefore the set is pretty much new.
To enter the competition, you must use mecabricks to design and build an alternative model with the parts contained in set 75901. You can use some of them or all of them. The model shall not have been published anywhere else before. To make it easier, I created a template that includes all the parts that you are allowed to use. Open it in the workshop and start building!

The models will be judged on the appearance, creativity, building techniques and of course Mecabricks skills (e.g. parts alignment).
If the contest is successful, I might organise others in the future.
Hi Scrubs,
I think that this is a cool idea 😃
I really hope there are many participants, so it will be a great challenge!
And now... let's start thinking about what to build with these pieces 😛
Yess, great contest! I am looking forward to build something with these parts.. 😃
Interesting. Might give it a try!
Cool idea!
Quite challenging as there are not so many parts, but I like the idea 😄
Awesome contest! I will try to make something.
awesome contest we need more of the contests
Should we post our entry in the library? Also, should possible spare parts be included?
Edit: I found the thread 😃
Hello,
No worries. Just delete the spare parts that you don't want to use 😉
I love the pumpkin head hat.
Hi everybody,
Thank you for the great entries that have been submitted. I'll review them with the help of other people and let you know before the end of the week.
Cheers
