Could you tell me more about it? Does it happen with both projections - Orthographic and perspective, and both controls - turntable and trackball?
Is there an event triggering the zoom not to work or is it not working from start?

Normal controls for zoom are mouse wheel or multitouch trackpad.

Anybody here has a similar issue?

I've only been using a multitouch trackpad, and it was working for my first model, but it has just frozen in the default zoom now. Nothing seems to set it off.
