Hello,
I thought it would be a good idea to start a new topic to post the renderings of models built in mecabricks.
So here is my version of the Ecto-1 LEGO set:

This was the first time I used the Cycles renderer from Blender and the node editor. I really enjoyed doing it and I'm looking forward to improve my skills.
Those are really nice, especially for first time renders! I particularly like the top right one. 👍
Forgot to post these renders here. 😅

Hello! I recently started learning blender (in the hopes of someday making renders that look cool and realistic (Everyone here is AMAZING by the way. I could just scroll through these pictures for hours) however, when taking the blender guru tutorials I found that, though in the video he says all textures on Poliigon are free, you actually have to pay for almost all of them. Is there another way to get textures? Thanks for your help,
-ArmoredBricks
You probably won't really find any places with textures of these quality with all map types, available for free.
That is always the same question: Time vs. Money.
If you don't need something too perfect, you can make them yourself from HD images found on google image. I often do that for floors, table tops, etc.
I like this online app to generate maps (normal, displacement, etc).
Thanks, I'll see what I can do. The problem is I'm a TFOL and incapable of buying online. I need it free or not at all 😦
Still, I'll keep trying, and hopefully succeed! Thanks for the quick response, by the way.
@ArmoredBricks I found this place fairly recently. The textures seem to be of reasonable quality and could potentially help you out. https://www.cc0textures.com/tagged/all

Concerning Poliigon.
I bought myself a bunch of textures back in February; I was pretty astonished by the prices of the on-demand credits back then (20 credits = 6$ = 3-4 textures with all maps), but there's actually a legit way to pay a very small amount of money while getting a bunch of textures: You can buy yourself a MONTHLY subscription, either Hobby (120 credits for 13$ per month) or Freelancer (300 credits, 22$ per month). With this subscription, you get 120/300 credits per month and you have to pay 13/22$ per month. However, if you already know which textures you need, you can buy yourself a monthly subscription, get yourself your textures and then cancel the subscription before the next month. This way, you can get 120/300 credits (~24/60 textures) for 13/22$ only, and I asked the staff: This method isn't cheating, they said [February 201😎 it's allowed to do so!
So, if you need a bunch of high-res textures for few money... get it. 😉
Hello! This is my first real lego render using Blender, it's very simple, but I hope to learn a lot more!
@Stas wow what an amazing moc! That Slave 1 Canopy is perfect! And obviously a fantastic render! Keep it up!
Here is my first attempt at adding lighting to bricks. I used the emission shader.
I feel like there's a better way though. Any suggestions?
Ooh! I know this one! because I had the same problem a few months ago. If your goal is to create a glow like this
I'd just follow this tutorial. https://youtu.be/nzXjTYH1muE (maybe you should turn the emission strength a lot higher.)
I feel like if I put a render here, it'll be like stumbling in to a room full of sleeping people. 😛

Hi! I did a few renders and made a few rigs awhile ago, never posted them on mecabricks! so here we go! (this is for a game team thing)
Newest to oldest Lego London Bus models. I set this up several months ago, but my computer was incapable of running it 😛 Thanks to @Samino for rendering it! 😃
Haven't posted this here yet, just thought I would add it to this awesome list of renders!
And my latest render!
Here's one I did in Blender/Cycles:
