Idea for user interface
georgebjones a commencé cette discussion dans Suggestions and Ideas

This interface is really great. As a suggestion for usability, would it be possible to put the shortcuts in the tooltips? When you hover over the tool, it tells you the name. For example, the clone tool, when you hover over it says "Clone" but what I am suggesting is it say "Clone (D)"

I saw your post on the shortcuts and I am a huge fan of them, especially when you will have your mouse over the model area most of the time.

Hello,
Yes, it would be a great addition. I might even try to spend 10 minutes to update that before the end of my holidays 😉 (end of August).
Thanks for your message.

Ha, I just saw in one of the other sections someone suggested the same thing.

Hi,
i think it would be great to add mirror function (like 3ds max mirror, or http://youtu.be/Jr0dLDfVn-o). but this can be difficult to implement with unilateral bricks.

Yes, mirroring is a tool I was thinking about at some stage. There are a few difficulties to solve in order to make it work properly, and some thoughts have to be put in before the implementation. It will probably come one day in mecabricks 😃

I finally added the shortcuts in the workshop tooltips as suggested by georgebjones in the first post here. I kinda forgot it before 😉
The list found in the Help and Tips section remains more complete though.

Maybe the mirroring could work the same way as the snap works - by selecting a snapping point of another object as the mirror axis... Dunno if that makes any sense...
