Oh, thats why then, the movie was the worst part about Ninjago's story, so thats why you don't like it! 😄

Hmmmm.
Why was it the worst part?

The story is super bad, compared to the Ninjago episodes. Ok, the rendering was excellent, but everything else was pretty bad. (the sets were cool too, but I'm talking the movie, and TV series, not the sets)

The movie doesn't look as bad as TLM2, which failed in my opinion.
It could have been sooooo much better.
The first 25 minutes was pretty enjoyable, but after that . . .

Where as the first LEGO Movie was pretty enjoyable the whole way through.
But it could have been much better IMO.

Gecko: Saying that it's the worst part of the story makes it sound worse than it is. It's really good, but the rest of the story is so much better, so the it's technically the worst. 😆
However, the decision to completely rewrite the characters was a bad one, IMO. The animation, dialogue, and sets were so good, but it failed to keep what made Ninjago great: The story, and the characters.

Yeah, but I liked the more "mature" approach to the next 3 seasons after the movie, made the story much better!

I don't quite understand Ninjago TBH.

Gecko: Yeah, Sons of Garmadon is actually my favorite Ninjago season. I also really like Master of the Mountain, but for different reasons. To choose between those two is just about choosing which style you like better, IMO.

Agreed, season 8 is definitely my favourite!

I liked the plot of season 8, but I prefer the art style of Season 7. I'm liking the art style of 10-14 though.

Unpopular opinion: Season 7 is my favourite... I personally don't notice the supposed drop in animation quality, and Kai is my favourite Ninja so, yeah.

Old Ninjago = Seasons 1-7; Post-Movie = Seasons 8-10; and new Ninjago = Seasons 11-present.

My fondest memories are of Old Ninjago, followed by post-movie.

In other news, wasn't that Ninjago contest results supposed to be released today?

Season 7 was good in my opinion, but not as good as post-movie.

I really like the animation of the LNM, but the story really doesn't fit in with the seasons. I like the seasons better, just in my opinion, but I haven't seen the old ones yet because I didn't like the first 5 minutes of Rise of Garmadon😂
