I found it difficult to create a second custom part. How do I do it?

And by the way, B1Trash, your tutorial thing was great and really helpful, thanks.

No problem!

is there anything for Minifigure stuff like heads and torsos

@Fresh_inkling-

I'll get something better up in the main part of this thread later. For now, here is a list of part numbers you can decorate for basic minifigures:

Head - 3626v2 - This is the modern head

Upper (76382) is an assembly built up from the following parts:
Torso - 3814
Right Arm - 3818v2
Left Arm - 3819v2
Hands -3820v2 (you cannot decorate these)

Lower (73200) is an assembly built up from the following parts:
3815 - Hips
3816 - Right Leg
3817 - Left Leg

Follow the guide from Step 2 using one of these part numbers. Then create an upper or lower assembly, but instead of decorating it, you will tell it which parts to assemble together. Scrubs' video goes through this process.

Just a quick question: Is there in any way that I could customize hair pieces?

What do you mean by that?

Currently I am making custom Percival Graves for someone. If you look up who that is you'll see that the sides of his hair is grey and the top black. Is there anyway that I could do that to a hairpiece? Thanks.

You could look through in the workshop.
I don't know if you can make custom prints on hair though.

Ok, Thanks!

I looked it up using the instructions from step one in the tutorial... that part can't be decorated because it's not compatible with the custom part builder. It needs to be updated first. You may be able to fake it if you duplicate your hairpiece and then shift one down ever so slightly. You'll need to change your increment to small to do this.

@B1Trash: Do you think you could upload these prints? https://mecabricks.com/en/models/zOjoVN9A26Z

Yes, I started to do it and then I got interrupted by the plumber who came to fix a leak... good news, we have running water again!

Oh, well that's good!
I just need them because I'm building Trouble On Tatooine.

This is helpful, but is there a certain place to find PNGs? I've been meaning to make a Greatest American Hero minifig for quite some time, but haven't been able to find a PNG of the logo.

For my workflow, I'd start with a Google search for "Greatest American Hero Logo." I'm kind of picky when it comes to quality, so I probably would trace it in Inkscape (free vector drawing program) and then export it to a PNG file from there.

If you don't want to do that, you can also add "PNG" or "Transparent" to your searches. Since JPG can't be transparent, these search terms will filter out most of the JPGs, but it's not 100% reliable.

Does anyone know what it means when i try to make a knew custom part, and it says the there is "insufficient storage space"?
