Yep! I have. But I still have Blender 2.79.
2.8 is far superior, and much more user friendly!

I agree. I definitely reminds me a lot of the Mecabricks Workshop. 😃 I finished the minifigure part decoration and trying to render. It was a little beyond my skill so I’m not sure how it will turn iut.

We needed a logo. Sleepy, this can go on the first post 😉

I haven't switched to Blender 2.8 yet since most of my projects are unstable enough with my unstable computer. I would rather not transfer my unstable projects on my unstable computer to a new version of Blender that is unstable. (How many 'unstable' words can you put in two sentences?😛)

It doesn't look that bad. I'm not sure of that is possible unfortunately. 😦 I imagine there are some game FX used to give it a slight emission value (looking at the pictures, I noticed that the gauge emits some blue and yellow light).

I think it looks fine! Can you slap it on a minifig for a picture?

Yes I was going to do that, but I'm still trying to figure out how to use 2.8. I'll do it on 2.79 because so it works for everyone. I'll also work a little harder on the decoration (I kinda gave up half way).

Oh maybe I could experiment with some metals to see what it would do.

Maybe you should create two maps? One with the blue and yellow parts and everything else a solid black, then the regular map for color. You could use the other map (akin to a metal map) to make the blue and yellow parts emit light.

No...not really...haven't had much time. 😦

Me neither. This month I'm entering a time where I'll be really packed. I'll still try to see what I can fit in but it might take a while.

I know this doesn't mean much coming from me (who hasn't really built a single thing... 😕 ), but, I think we should consider making some sort of plan of action or something. Just a thought. It might help us to keep focused on this project
Or, we could just "save the project for later" for now and re-continue it during a time when everybody is fairly free.
