Brick Adventure Game: Planet Quest
AdrianRayner started this discussion in Community

We need your help to bring an adventure game to life. We are looking for people that want to be involved in creating content for Planet Quest using MecaBricks.

Please take a look at the pictures at the link below to have an understanding of the look and feel of the game, plus a small gimps of the story.

We are looking for mad max thunderdome style town with isolated outposts and locations to fill the world, It's a rough junk almost steampunk planet with space traders, pirates, hidden danger and exciting characters.
Locations are small dwellings/huts, workshops, ship repair/refuel, markets etc. Lots of makeshift not perfect places that look like they have been made from scrap or ship parts, nothing big and complex at this stage. Also any land planet vehicles or smashed destroyed ones.

This is a ultra creative project that is not in line with normal brick builds, but I'm keen to see who wants to be involved, if we get enough support we can release a free playable version for the MecaBricks community.

Thank you
Adrian

Very nice @Sleepy17!

@AdrianRaynier Is there any way we can have a mix of both monorail systems in the game? They both look very cool in my opinion.

Thanks Samino! V1 of the train will be out shortly.

You're welcome! Looking forward to it! 😄

@AdrianRayner
I found some of my older LDD tablescraps today and thought that some of them might fit your game style. You might use those if you like them. To be honest, I can't quite remember whether I recycled some part connection ideas of other MOCers when building them, but they should be fine nontheless.

If I'll find/build more, I'll just update the file so I don't need to post again. I will send you PMs whenever I update the file.

Version one of the train. It's still in progress, but I would like some suggestions. The old wrecked version should be done soon.

Here's an old hanger I've been working on as well.

@Sleepy17 Very clever use of the garage door panels! The tram is looking excellent, just one thing nags at me... the front seems rather a bit oblong on the front. Maybe shortening the front would help?

Sleepy well done the monorail system is looking good. Destroy as much as you can but keep me some of the rail system intact so it looks like it's still standing. Great job.

NGChunter welcome to the group. I think the parts will go well. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Samino good idea I will use the old rail system as well. And with the next update I'm just testing some of the new mechanics of the game then I'll try and get it to you guys.no time frame at this stage.

Regards
Adrian

Could someone give me the coordinates for ArmoredBricks? Thanks 😃

Hi! I would have no idea, sorry.

Lemme check... I'll get back to you ArmoredBricks on that in a minute. 😉

@Samino thanks!

That should hopefully be correct.

(kind of ironic that he's my character 😛 )

True! I'm still waiting for a mission to be assigned to my sigfig! 😄

I honestly have not found a single chest 😄 and currently everyone wants coins!

That's not good! Hope you find one soon. 😄

I finally found some 😄
