How can I add the decoration (face, torso, etc) files into blender?

Sorry if this is already answered somewhere else but I couldn't find anything about it. So I exported my model as a .dae file and I imported it into blender. But the face and torso and legs where just plain grey. So I tried importing it using the templet scrubs made. But that had the same results. So the question is how can I add the image files from the decorations folder onto the model in blender. BTW I am a total noob when it comes to blender.

Hi,

If you followed the video tutorial coming with my script, after clicking the "Run Script" button, all the materials shall be set correctly including textures. Depending on the shading mode of your viewport(s), you will see textures or not in the live preview. However when you will render the final image it will be there anyway.

Textures will be visible with the following shadings in the viewport: Rendered, Material, Texture.

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I'll try what you said and let you know how it goes.

I need help with the same thing.

This thread is 4 years old and everything has changed. Modifying the material in Blender is now complicated. You’d better add your custom decorations directly in Mecabricks and export to Blender using the Mecabricks addon.

That's what I've been trying, but it not showing up.
