How do you actually know if a plastic crate supplier in UAE is worth trusting for a long term order?

Hi, so I'm in a situation where I need to make a fairly significant purchasing decision and I keep second guessing myself because the stakes feel higher than usual. I manage procurement for a small logistics company based in Dubai and we're at the point where we need to standardize our entire storage and transport crate system across two facilities, which means we're talking about a reasonably large initial order and then ongoing replenishment as things wear out or get damaged in transit. The problem I keep running into is that when you search online almost every supplier sounds equally credible on their website and it's genuinely hard to know from a product page alone whether you're looking at a company that's been doing this properly for years or one that's basically reselling imported stock with minimal quality control on their end. I spent a good amount of time going through crateco.ae recently and what stood out was that they seem to actually manufacture locally rather than just distribute, which in theory means more consistency between batches and a shorter supply chain if something needs to be resolved quickly. Finding reliable plastic crates suppliers in UAE that can handle both the initial volume and the ongoing relationship is actually harder than it sounds because some places are great for a one time order but then lead times stretch out or quality dips once you're a regular customer rather than a new one they're trying to impress. I've been burned by that pattern before with a different product category so I'm probably more cautious than the average buyer at this point. What I really want to know from people who've been through this is whether there are specific things you look for beyond the product itself, like how responsive they are to queries, whether they're transparent about materials and load ratings, and whether their after sales communication is actually useful or just the usual automated responses that don't solve anything.
