Man, I don't even know where to start. My 2012 JK started slipping between third and fourth gear about two months ago and I took it to this general workshop near my place in MBZ City. Long story short, they had my car for three weeks, charged me for a "full transmission service" and then the problem came back after like 200 kilometers. I was so fed up because they kept saying "maybe it needs more time" or "these models just shift hard." A friend who wheels his Rubicon told me to stop messing around and find the Best Jeep Garage Musaffah instead of letting random mechanics learn on my car. So I called around, found one that actually had Wranglers and Grand Cherokees sitting outside, and the difference was night and day. The guy diagnosed a bad solenoid pack within an hour and had it fixed in two days for less than what I paid the first place just for guessing. Anyway, I'm just relieved to have my Jeep back and wanted to share in case anyone else is stuck in that loop of going to general shops that don't really know these transmissions. Lesson learned the expensive way I guess.
