I relocated here a few months ago and I'm still figuring out the lay of the land. My car is due for its first service since I arrived and I'm a bit lost. I live near the city centre, so it's tempting to just go to the closest workshop, but I've heard from colleagues that it's much cheaper to go to Mussafah. I'm all for saving money on vehicle maintenance where I can, especially since I'm still settling in and watching my budget. But I also don't want to waste an entire Friday driving out there if the quality isn't good or if the time spent isn't worth the few extra dirhams saved. For the more experienced Abu Dhabi drivers here, what's your rule of thumb? Do you make the trip to Mussafah for everything, or only for specific types of repairs?
