If you're looking for a fun, fast-paced game to kill time, Subway Surfers is still one of the best endless runners out there.
Developed by Kiloo and SYBO Games, Subway Surfers was released back in 2012, but it’s still super popular today. The gameplay is simple but addictive — you run through subway tracks, dodge trains, jump over obstacles, and collect coins while being chased by the inspector and his dog.
What makes the game really stand out is:
The controls are very easy (just swipe up, down, left, right), which makes it perfect for both kids and adults. Whether you're playing for 5 minutes or an hour, it never really gets boring because you’re always trying to beat your high score.
Another cool thing is that it runs smoothly on most devices and doesn’t require high specs. That’s probably one reason why it became one of the most downloaded mobile games ever.
If you enjoy endless runner games like Temple Run, you’ll definitely love Subway Surfers. Still playing in 2026 and still trying to beat my old record
