Same. I have already reported it on the official Mecabricks discord, and Scrubs is aware of it, so it should be fixed in the future... idk when though.

Is it just a Firefox issue? I have not checked Google Chrome yet.

I'm using Chrome, and I get the issue, so no, the browser doesn't seem to be the issue.

MyPal crashes on every page, while Firefox only crashes on the notif page.

I'm on chrome also and I don't have any issue also.

The issue has been fixed, it seems. 😉
