Finding overlapping parts
wunnle started this discussion in Help and Tips

Hello,

I wonder if there is a way to find and select any overlapping parts in a model. It would be pretty cool if there was a selection tool like "Doubles" option.

Thanks

Good luck.. It's already there. Use the Selection Tools tool. It's the mouse arrow on the top of the left sidebar. Then look for Doubles on the far right of the pop-up.

I know about the doubles option, in fact I already mentioned it in my post. By overlapping I don't necessarily mean the same parts occupying the same space in the same position - I mean parts intersecting, like if 2 bricks 4x4 bricks are have an in a 1x1 overlap in the corner

To clarify, here is a screenshot

Aaah I misunderstood.

So no solutions on this?

There is no collision detection in Mecabricks.

This is the closest forum to what I needed. But hopefully y'all can help. How do you get a right arm for a custom minifigure? There's a left arm, but not a right! Why isn't there one?

This seems like a useful forum, I need a partner at slope 2 unblocked , join to see who gets the highest rating
