[WARNING] this forum may contain some content that will make people, uncomfortable. So be warned: if you dont like harry potter, lord of the rings, stories with an alternate afterlife to whats real (or what you believe), then i wouldnt suggest reading this because it contains a lot of all that stuff (its not a HP or LOTR fanfic, im just saying it has that kind of magics and stuff in it.)

[SPOILER WARNING] this may have spoilers for a thing im doing. But not really.

So: you may be wondering “Whats this about?” Well ill tell you, im doing a thingy i call Reapers Lament, its a story thing, but it doesnt quite have all the elements to make a full chapter by chapter thing. I mean, i have a plot for it and characters and all, but it still need to be written.
Basically what im doing right now is world building.
Anyway: the point is, im planning a story and i need a place to write down ideas so im making a forum. If anyone has suggestions please tell me and ill take it into consideration. Now on with the discussion!

[The Story So Far]

A while back, around the black plegue a bunch of new reapers were made to keep up with the death toll, one of which was unusually grey, i mean, most reapers are white (as in the color of paper white, not tan like a British guy) so that they appear more peaceful looking. But this guy was grey. Weird but true. Anyway, that may or may not come to any importance later. His name was Vášrok, in the language the wraiths speak it means hopeful one. I guess its ironic seeing a reaper named “hopeful” but hey, it was his name. When reapers are made they know everything they need to, they don't need to grow up because they already are “fully grown” and they don't have empathy. Or at least, they shouldn't. So basically they are made to go directly to earth and start harvesting. So V (thats what were gonna call Vášrok) went to earth and was supposed to harvest the soul of a human. This human wasn’t special, they lived a quiet life and had no great achievements but for some reason V didn’t want to do it. He felt like if he killed this person other humans would be sad. He felt compassion for the humans family for a brief second until another reaper came in and took the humans soul anyway. V then seeing the human dead ignored the feeling and moved on to the next soul on the list. And the next, and the next. For the next 200 years he harvested souls and started new lives like any other reaper. Until one day he came across a human trapped in an ally being forced to give up his wallet while held at gunpoint. The man with the gun shot him and something inside the reaper flinched. Something happened inside him that made him sad again. He stared at the human bleeding out onto the ground not quite dead because the reaper didn’t harvest his soul yet. A few moments later V reached out his arm and collected it.

[Random Facts/Other Stuff]

——

[Equipment/Weapons/Magic items]

Reaper staff: can kill a human one hit, used by all reapers besides the Head Reaper.

Hourglass: used by all reapers to set human lifespans when they are born and once they are dying its used to decide if the human deserves a longer life, if so the hourglass gives more time.

Magic arm bands: basically just enchanted jewellery that does different stuff (see Vášrok’s abilities and tools)

Soul lantern: all reapers have these. When a reaper ends a human, their soul is gathered in these, whilst in the lantern the reaper can use any abilities the human had. Say one was an expert swimmer, the reaper could swim just as good as the human.

Various enchanted cloaks: garments worn by reapers that usually allow them to them to teleport or travel in some special way.

[Locations/Landmarks]

Earth: yall know enough about earth.

The AfterWorld: home dimension of the Afterlands and reapers.

The AfterLands: where good humans go when they die, also home to reapers.

Judgements Chamber: giant temple made of obsidian and gold, where humans are deemed “good” or “bad”

The Gate: entry gate to the AfterWorld

more coming soon

I think I found it 😂
Honestly I don’t really like harry potter anymore and never had anything to do with Lotr so……
Pretty good though 👍

That sounds like a great idea, I like it so far, you might need to add a little more to the judging otherwise it won't appeal to the reader, but so far this looks promising! 👍

Add more to judging? Oh i got you bro
